+1. I can personally attest to this. I wrapped the whole car and the original plan was to keep it for a long time but I sold the car last month. I got nothing back in trade because of the wrap.

My feeling is I may have gotten less because the dealer had to remove the wrap for resale but that's just my thinking.

In my opinion, one should also consider if it is desirable to have a brand new looking paint job, protection against keying of the car, and always know that the car is almost perfect. In my last car that i recently sold, it was always a point of irritation to have worn paint. When i learned about xpel, i decided at once.

The downside is cost. So if you dont care much about the condition of the paint, skip it. When i get my S560, i would not sleep at night if i got a stone chip in the front. Here i am finally getting the car of my dreams, and you tell me i have to live with stone chips? Forget it.

what do you think guys?
If you're not already aware, there is going to be a 4-door version of the GT, available as a 53, 63, 63 S, probably a 73 (plug in hybrid) and some think possibly a 43...article

Pretty similar to the CLS, except for the grille, and being a hatchback.

Congratulations! I have the 2017 S63, black/black. It was a demo so I was able to get a great deal. However, I'm considering upgrading to a 2018, and maybe getting a coupe. I have a couple of questions for you:

1. Are you getting any low speed or first to second gear transmission jerkiness?
2. How do you like the high-end Burmeister system?

Again, congratulations...sounds like a great decision on a great car.

That grill makes sense on the AMG GT series as those are sports cars, but not on some silly SUV (GLC) or the S class for that matter.
Another vote against the Panamericana grill on an S Coupe! In fact, I'd like to see the single bar and honeycomb on the S63 and S65 Sedan! Backward move Mercedes! If I buy an '18 to upgrade from my '16 for the better electronics and awesome new 4.0 and 9 speed, swap the grills, or NO DEAL!

Besides, my new tatt would be obsolete! :

This might be the dumbest thing I've read so far in 2018

Please, what else does your friend say??

I like the traditional grill. Especially on the sedan. Definitely keep the Mercedes emblem on top of the hood. (I love looking at the emblem when driving) Just ordered a brand new 2019 S65 Coupe. (I love the V12s). The only two things I don't like about it are; 1) The Panamericana Grill. 2) I wish it had the Mercedes Emblem on the hood like on my S550 sedan.

Regardless of the country of origin the comment that it looks horrible still stands.
