My feeling is I may have gotten less because the dealer had to remove the wrap for resale but that's just my thinking.

The downside is cost. So if you dont care much about the condition of the paint, skip it. When i get my S560, i would not sleep at night if i got a stone chip in the front. Here i am finally getting the car of my dreams, and you tell me i have to live with stone chips? Forget it.

Hello,
I'm not good in Aftermarket industry stuff and also not good in Photoshop.
But who thinks the AMG GT R grille will be nice in S63/S65 sedan also?

Pretty similar to the CLS, except for the grille, and being a hatchback.

Congratulations! I have the 2017 S63, black/black. It was a demo so I was able to get a great deal. However, I'm considering upgrading to a 2018, and maybe getting a coupe. I have a couple of questions for you:
1. Are you getting any low speed or first to second gear transmission jerkiness?
2. How do you like the high-end Burmeister system?
Again, congratulations...sounds like a great decision on a great car.

I think the exact opposite. It's a shame Mercedes slaps the same grills on just about every car, just like their AMG wheel options. The S-class wheels are identical to the ones on the C-class, apart from size.
That grill makes sense on the AMG GT series as those are sports cars, but not on some silly SUV (GLC) or the S class for that matter.

Besides, my new tatt would be obsolete! :

I like the traditional grill. Especially on the sedan. Definitely keep the Mercedes emblem on top of the hood. (I love looking at the emblem when driving) Just ordered a brand new 2019 S65 Coupe. (I love the V12s). The only two things I don't like about it are; 1) The Panamericana Grill. 2) I wish it had the Mercedes Emblem on the hood like on my S550 sedan.
