Im on the fence with this. I love how the vertical grill is different from the common horizontal grill and it makes the car look aggressive (like a shark). But, I hate that the MB logo is in the grill instead of on the hood as a hood ornament.

There's something about seeing a hood ornament on a car to make it feel special. I wish my E300 had the hood ornament.

Also with all the tech, there would be no way to get the illuminated star (which I absolutely love, wish it was more prominent) because of the cameras and sensors.

I didn't like the waterfall style grille on the earlier Maybachs. For the same reason, I don't think this looks that great. That's a Lincoln trademark to me. And I too like the star on the hood.

Hate it. I'm old school. I think a star in the grill only belongs on 2 door coupes and convertibles.

that is correct only for AMG, not for the regular coupes and cabs.
