Where does this part goes?

I bought AMG S63 pack online. And it come with out guidelines. I fit everything fine, but I have no idea where does this part goes.
There are two of them. They are the same just in mirror look.
Can you please tell me where this part goes?

Can you reference the size of the part by putting something next to it in the picture that we all are familiar with in the real world?
Is the part 1 inch tall or 10 feet tall?

According to Brian Regan, that looks like one of the skyhooks that go in between the rectilinear flap coil spring plates. Be sure to tighten it up to specs or the whole thing will start smoking. Then you'll have to "gun it". LOL

Flux-Capacitor?

(sorry, I know not helpful, but couldn't resist such an easy Back to the Future reference....)
