Bigoldblue, I think the difference is that Rear Power Seats (w/o Warmth & Comfort) is bundled with 4-zone climate as the "Rear Seat Package", and that's where you lose the tuck-under. I admit that I didn't spend a lot of time looking at every item each car had.

BeanTrader, I'm going to speculate, but I think 45" is the 18.7cf trunk. 41" is probably the 16.3cf trunk. 36" and the 3D subwoofer is probably the 12.3cf trunk.

That makes sense. Thanks! 16.3 CF is exactly the same amount of space as my 2014 S550.

New S-Class

Hello all,

I have the same problem with my 2018 S63 Sedan. Smaller trunk space due to the power rear seat option. Does anyone know who makes a trunk mat or liner for this situation?

I looked at an Audi last week and the trunk space is much larger. My Honda Accord and Genesis have larger trunk spaces than the S class. Hmm.

Yes, Mercedes does. You need your VIN because I think there are 4 different mats available.
I got one for mine (45" trunk). It goes all the way to the back of the tuck-under. Just what I wanted.

Hi Joey,

Thanks for responding. I have given my VIN number to 2 different dealers and they have told me that MB does not make a mat for my trunk.

The best or nothing
This thread is way too funny and I wish German engineers would read and learn from it.

Good luck with that! I love Germany and the German people. I used to travel there often on business and was the exclusive U.S. agent for a very prestigious line of German made products, for decades. That said, you CANNOT tell the Germans ANYTHING! They know everything, know how to do it better than anybody, know what YOU and everyone else on the planet SHOULD have—regardless of what you may actually WANT—and, for the most part, will refuse to listen to Americans, as we are considered inferior. Obviously this is my opinion, and I may have spread it a bit thick here, but this REALLY is the impression I got from dealing with Germans for so many years. In addition, it has been significantly reinforced by dealing with German car companies for many years. In full disclosure, my heritage is half German, half Polish.

Well, that's not cool.
10 years ago, I had Lloyds Mats make a set of floor mats. I'm not sure they still do that. I cut brown paper in the exact shape and sent it to them. They charged $15 extra. If I can find the Email (and I doubt I can), I'll PM the info.
