Michelin tires on the S63

I just got my 2018 s63 and it came with Michelin sport 3. Was wondering if it’s worth switching to the pilot sport 4s vs the 3. I’d ride quality and noise any better ?

They aren’t run flats but from reviews on tire tack ect the 4s seems to have a better review. Was wondering if anyone with a S class can comment.

Is this a new car, does it have a spare?

New car and no spare. They give you a small air inflator with a sealant

2015 S550 sedan with sport package
Pilot 4s

Hello
It seems the tire you currently have is a great all weather tire. I put a set of lovely pilot sport 4s on my S550 AMG sport package with 20 inch wheels about 4k miles ago and I could feel the difference right away steering my way out to the main road from the dealer. They are quiet, have a lot of grip on take off, satisfying straight line feel, and really give a predictable feel on higher speed turns even in wet conditions. They also did not feel like you were constantly smoking tires like the Pirelli run flats which wore out quickly compared to these tires.

My S65 came with Conti Contact 5P’s and They are good tires. Our new 2018 E63S came with Michelin 4s and I feel they are now the better tire. We have less than 3k miles on them so no opinion on wear. I think you will be pleased with 4s’s on your S63 if you change the tires.

PS3 is a great tire, and I'd expect even more from the PS4.....I'm waiting for my AMG's wheels to be 'done' and I am hoping to get some PS4's.
Do you feel the 'noise' you get now is bad? Or is there any? I've been using Michelin for years with no complaints........good luck to you.
Where are the pics??

Am changing to none run flat tires. PSS4. These run flats are horrible noise wise, performance wise and wears on the run flat are like 3-4K per tire.

Going with 22" aftermarket wheels for better looks, feel and performance.

Warning: For those that didnt know. Costco air is nitrogen and not regular air so i was told it unbalances the air in the tires and gives worst tire wear and performance.

I wonder if that is just for run flats or all tires.

Blame it on the Air we Breath...
By volume, dry air contains 78.09% nitrogen , 20.95% oxygen , [2] 0.93% argon , 0.04% carbon dioxide , and small amounts of other gases. Air also contains a variable amount of water vapor , on average around 1% at sea level, and 0.4% over the entire atmosphere.

Correct me if I'm wrong but for pure summer driving, wouldn't the Super Sport > Pilot Sport 3/4

I'm under the impression that the Pilot Sport is more of an all season tire vs the Super Sport really being a dry, summer tire

Wow, my car did not come with Michelins but ContiSport Run Flats. It says MO on the sidewall. I would have preferred Michelins for sure...

I ended up swapping out the 3 for the 4s after reading several reviews and it was an instant register. Yes, the 4s did have a tad bit more grip, however the Noise in the cabin was significant worse. The 3s actually have a piece of foam to help with the acoustics. It made a significant difference and I changed back to 3S.
