Door Handle Back Lights Failing...

This is the 3rd light to fail in 2 years. Anyone else have this problem.... Also, the Mercedes Sill Logo is flickering on the Drivers Side Door. Ya think they will cover this under CPO? Go out at night and check your lights.

Anyone? Does anyone know if this is a DIY replacement or Dealer only? Thanks!

The only thing I can say is that I have seen tis as a frequent complaint in the W205 C Class section. I would push for both concerns to be repaired under CPO.

Yup, all 4 of mine took a dump within a few weeks of eachother. Door panels have to come off - was a wty replacement but took the dealership all day to fix.

Does anyone know if CPO would cover this since B2B ran out 2 months ago. What year was your car? Thanks!

Depends, CPO may or may not, we have to run coverage on things like that and see.

Are you able to send me a copy of your invoice that they were covered under CPO, dealer just got back to me and stated they would not be covered. Its not just 1 its 2 Lights, and this is the 3rd time in for service on them. First 2 times they were done under B2B. Thanks if you can, it would greatly help. If you want to PM me...

He may have a different level of CPO than you, just because it's covered on one car doesn't mean it's on another.

I don't understand the meaning of "different level of CPO". In a given market, say the US as an example, it is my understanding that CPO coverage is the same level of coverage for a given model anywhere in the US. In other words, I'm not aware of any variance in level of CPO coverage that can be applied to a vehicle in the US.

No, I've seen CPO - Base and CPO - Total listed on the VMI when looking for coverage info. I don't know what the qualifiers are, but there are different packages.
