S550 Self Parking problem
My 2015 S550 is 12 inches longer than my previous 2012 CLS550 and it hits the curb in the first try and than you have to pull forward and try again but most of the time it requires a forward move before backing again. This multiple moving back and forth was never an issue with the CLS......it went in back and then forward and then straight. Is anyone having problems getting the car to change turning direction before hitting the curb ?? And BTW....I complained to SA and he parked it himself but not without hitting the curb the first turnin and then he pulled forward and then again straight, and said "there you go".."perfect" WTF ??

Now thinking about it, I never did try to see if it works better with the vehicle in the raised position other than the low position....

First....raising the height of the car would certainly have the rear sensors totally miss the curb. Second, maybe the later models (ie '17,'18 ) have this fixed. And is there a possibility that there is a software fix we are not aware of ? Or maybe the sensors are faulty ???
