Do brake lights go on with distronic

Just took my first road trip in this car and noticed that when I set the distronic and go faster it almost brakes to slow down to thie speed set .
Just wondering if the brake lights come on when that happens .
Or wihen the car drifts towards the centreline and slows down and pulls straighter do the brake lights go on then as well?
Not that it really matters... but just curious

I've been wondering that as well. I also would like to know if in an emergency slam on the brake moment do the brake lights do a rapid pulsating flash as opposed to just coming on and staying on. This happened to me a few weeks back where a sudden traffic jam up occurred causing everyone to panic brake . When that happened I was wondering if the brake lights flashed quickly to grab the attention of the person behind me.

When the car is braking in an emergence situation, the brake lights are on--to warn the guy behind the car taking an emergency stop.

When the car is just correcting itself, I don't know.

If brakes are being applied - regardless of Distronic or whatever - the brake lights illuminate

One would think whenever the brake is applied, the rear brake light would come on as that is how it was designed.

If brake lights wouldn't come on when the brakes are applied with Distronic is activated one could also sue the brand for safety issues ,I think .In such a scenario , one is rear ended the other driver says the brake lights don't illuminate or broken so he couldn't stop just in time because of brake light not coming on , the rear ended driver says he had Distronic activated but he had no idea whether or not Distronic gets the brake lights come on .
