When does the S class in N. america get the new mild hybrid drive engines?

I want to make sure I do NOT end up with this. I presume the 2019 S classes still get the good ol' engines, but what about 2020? Anyone know?

Those who know won't say, those who say don't know.

Let me ask then. Has it been released anywhere in the world?

48V mild hybrid electrification en masse for the first time? Why not? Oh, a whole slew of concerns. Continental's P0 mild hybrid system is just about to be launched in the A8 and after spending all day researching it, there are a LOT of new technologies being implemented, chief among which is a Lithium Ion battery that is most likely just air cooled. Sorry, to me, that's stupid. Lithium Ion batteries operate most efficiently within 10-30'C...

Anyways, I know too much about this and have no faith that this will go without a hitch. So I'm trying to avoid most of this first gen stuff. I can go into detail, but at the very least I am risk adverse to new technologies, and my decision to avoid the early gen M272 engines paid off for me, big time.
