Ticking noise

Hi guys,
I have 2015 s500 and l get ticking noise between 1000-1500 rpm under kph.
One thread here referred to TSB LI54.18-P-060706 (attached) .
I tried openning the document but no pics or figures.
I appreciate your help in this, its driving me crazy.

RPMs under KPH makes no sense at all.

Try saying the same thing again, but use different words.

Perhaps this thread will help, especially the *.pdf.

Apparently it is a known issue with an easy fix.

Thank you Mitch for your reply, i have gone through this thread and the pdf but apparently some pics are missing from the pdf.
I would appreciate if someone who has the pdf with pics can share it here.

While I have not been under my S600, I have in the distant past been under a lot of cars.
Since this is a ground wire that is causing the vibration,
a) it should not take a lot of imagination in order to find the ground wire,
b) it should be easy to determine if the ground wire is causing your ticking
c) it should be pretty obvious, based on the *.pdf where the other attachment point is
d) and move the ground from where it is to the suggested new destination

Just make sure you do b) first.

I have a 2015 S, and I have an annoying sound that I notice mostly upon accelerating under load(i.e. going up a grade) that sounds like low grade gas "knock". I would not describe as "ticking" but that just me. I will show this bulletin to my service manager at next visit.

That LI refers to the ground line on the side of the transmission possibly making contact with the body. Unlikely but worth a look. How quiet of a ticking noise are we talking about here?
I'd suggest checking this stuff instead. Much more likely to be the cause of you hearing noise, IMO, than the ground line.

Thanks guys for your replies, i would describe it as a cricket noise.. I have tried my friend's car and it has the same issue.
I think it is a common problem in W222's.
