Wireless SD card

Has anyone used a Toshiba Flashair card in their sd slot? My thought was to be able to manage my music on the card remotely. I think it would work but I don't know if the card still has power while the car is off. I've ordered one that should be in tomorrow. I'll report back.

I had used it in my Mercedes-Benz and worked flawlessly . Still, I like to use mini USB which I find more convenient

Did it work while the car was off? That's kinda my goal to keep it synced up while parked in the garage.

It won't work while the car is off any more than a phone will charge. That would be a potential drain on the battery!

Lots of things stay awake in the car when it's off. But in this case it goes to sleep after about 5 minutes so I'm not sure it'll do what I wanted.

Do you mat a drive to it and just copy files? Any instructions? I know for cameras you can download off but I have not seen any info to upload to it.
Thanks

I just insert it and play whatever it's there ,I don't use it to upload the files into the hard drive of the car .From my experience, uploading or copying a large files thru SD Card has never been a good because of repetitive failures . USB flash disks work great for this kinda stuff though .
