I thought Tirerack had these for sale, but not now, anyways I am looking for anyone with my model that has made the switch, did they fit, etc, or did you settle for 18's, appreciate the help thanks!

You doing that for winter tires or something? 17" is a small rim for such a large car I think they would look terrible so unless you doing this specifically to put winter tires on the car I would go smaller than 18". I think depending on your road conditions 19" is perfect size and if roads are good then 20's.

I got 19" now and i dont like the look of them. They are damaged, and since i have noticed the positive impact stepping down only 1" has on comfort compared to my previous 20" im all into ditching the current set. When i bought the car the dealersalesman said 18" was impossible on a 400d 4matic.
Found out thats wrong and found a nice 18" set wich i wouldnt even have found if not one meber here posted a pic:

Im just..wow..mine is the same colour and i love the combo. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuutt i got nothing to do, and its weekend, and yes i have to look at all those fully loaded ones evenso, i went for a look ins MercedesHeimatland:

Again, but also a 350:

They dont look sharp, you might say they look indeed pretty tiny, but hey..if there is a chance on probing these and thay lift the comfort to whole new level why not. I care more about comfort than looks nowadays.
Didnt find other engines with these original wheels but what the heck, i would have missed this beauty:

18" is as small as I would go for a 5,000+ car.

……………lol
That’s MY car in the photo. Here in the USA, 18” wheels were the smallest available on a W222. I believe 17” wheels were available in Germany. If 17’s had been available here, I would have ordered them. Ride quality is a HUGE deal with me. I also removed the “run flat” tires and put on conventional tires. My car also has the “Magic Body Control” or “MBC” option. I carry a compact spare in my trunk.
