Your wife and the S class

I have had my W212 E350 for 3 years and it's a great vehicle (wife's daily). If I had to do it again I would go for the E400 or E550 for more power but she's 100% happy with it. It's just a very fun car to drive.

2020 S560 Sedan, 2019 SL450, 2019 E450 Luxury Trim Wagon
My wife and I feel the same about the W212 vs the W213 vs the W222. She has a 2016 E350 Luxury Trim sedan that we ordered. It has Surround View and the Nappa interior. Compared to the W213, her car feels much more solid and we both prefer the more traditional look of the W212 interior and exterior. She really dislikes the “look alike” treatment of the rear end of the W213. As for the W222, which I drive, she feels it is way too big for her and I agree. A couple of inches here and a couple of inches there can really make a difference when negotiating supermarket parking lots, etc. She loves her car and it has been rock solid dependable since new, so we are keeping it. I’m hoping that just maybe, I can convince her to go for a new GLE450, but we’ll see.

There is so much wrong with that statement I don't know where to start. Do you really think that women are less capable of driving big cars? Or that women have a different "learning curve" than men?

Is it really that wrong to state that women have a different learning curve then men? I don't know if this is true, but if it is, what's the big deal? There was no statement made as far as if it was worse, or better, or longer, or shorter, just different.
Yes, women are different then men, and men are different than women. What's your deal?

My wife drives my S-Class more than I do. The car is very maneuverable and has a turning radius that is better than both of our Jaguars. I specifically picked up one with the 360 cameras and she does not use it and has no problem making her way through the city. Since 2006, my wife has been driving S-Classes and has never had any problems except for flat tires. (doesn't help we have 20' AMG rims w/ low profile tires)

AMG GTC Roadster, E63s Ed.1, M8 Comp. Coupe
She ended up hurting many BMW & Porsche driver egos in the process
Let's face it; there is very little technical knowledge people need to have with modern cars or MB's. Anything in a Mercedes is stupid simple, only hindered by a slow interface and poor interface design. Luckily much of that has been fixed with MBUX and the additional use of Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
I suggest moving on beyond the stereotypes from the 1950's

^ So to summarize: Everyone else in the world is an idiot / bad driver except for my wife, oh and of course I don't need to say this, I'm still a better driver than her.

Lets not forget how many women drive HUGE SUV's, many of which are bigger than an S class.

To me it is. Not because it's politically incorrect but because it's a stupid generalization to make. People are individual and so are their skillsets. My wife likes a smaller car than the S-Class for maneuvering and she prefers a convertible over a SUV, but is a better (and faster) driver than most men I know or see on the street.

There is no doubt my wife would be able to handle it its just I have a hard time convincing her so. No offence to the females in this forum.
I need to see pics of Katie 22 in the huge Maybach
