Reset "Service A Overdue" Notice
Does anyone know how to reset the "Service X is Overdue by Y Miles" notice on a 2018-2019 w222 w/ the new steering wheel? All of the tutorials that I found online apply to the 2014-17 w222 with the old steering wheel and the removable push to start button (and thus, don't work). I had my 10k service done, but the dealer did not reset. I'd rather not have to drive back over there just to have them reset the notice if possible.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The process is slightly tricky until you do it once, but in general the steps are the same. Once you have Odometer displayed, Ign in position 1 (not full on, just first stage on), then press and hold the home button for 1.5 seconds (the upper icon row should start to display), then press the center selection button on the same side. It should pop to the service menu. From there just follow the prompts.
Same wheel on a 213 E class, there has to be videos of the process there.

Thanks for the help guys. I successfully got rid of the "Service A 300 Miles Overdue" message ... and replaced it with a "Service B Overdue" message!
Once I get that sorted out, I'll report back!

Your cluster has to be recoded. I had that issue after doing a service on a car at the dealership. Even undoing and resetting via the SDS would not fix it. There's a software issue where when you reset, it doesn't set the mileage to 10k to go but back to zero, so it shows the next service due immediately.

Not really, I would tell them you reset it and now it shows this. They may try to charge you to fix it, if you aren't friendly with your dealer. But I believe there is a bulletin referencing it, I will try to find it now.
Edit: can't find any bulletins for the issue, so I'd just suggest being honest and telling them that you reset it via the steering wheel and got this, and based on your conversations with a tech at another dealership, you've heard that it's a software issue with the ASSYST system and needs to be updated. They should be able to take care of it unless you have a very unpleasant dealership.
