2015 S550 squeaky steering wheel. Help. !!!

I have a 2015 S 550 that has a very squeaky steering wheel that sounds like a creaking wood bed when you turn the wheel, Even when the vehicle is in park. The sound is in the steering column not wheel bearings or anything like that. There is only 35,000 miles on this vehicle.
I would appreciate if anyone else has had this experience and how it was resolved. Thank you very much John

Factory warranty expires 4 years/50,000 miles whichever comes first. If, in fact, expired within 30-90 days request goodwill repair from MBUSA http://mercedes-benz.custhelp.com/ap...es-benz-usa%3F

I have the same / similar problem. It just occurred all of a sudden. Will be making an appointment within the next week or so and will post. It sounds more like a moan and you can feel it in the wheel. It occurs while still or making any turn.

MB is aware is this issue and there is a dedicated fix, I just can't remember what it was but something in the steering column needed to be replaced

They would not cover this under CPO . So many items are NOT covered under MB Extended Warrantee. You would think anything related to steering would be covered, n o t......

Wow, that's not good, I'd ask to speak with the MBUSA service rep as the TSB should have been done when your car was CPO'd ...here's the TSB LI46.10-P-060641 JAN15 – 222, 217 squeaking noise from area of lower steering shaft or firewall, replace steering shaft.

Wow, I will follow up with them. Thank you for the info. I have another issue that also was not covered under CPO, problem is not fixed, but they charged me for a rear axle. I get a buzzing/humming drone noise from 56 mph up to about 68 mph. Can recreate every time as long as road is smooth and dry. Unrelated to transmission/steering/turning/brakes/tires/driving around a bend, its an annoying hum. Suspension raised/ lowered/ sport mode/comfort mode, no change. Sounds like its from the rear. Trying to locate TSB on it or if anyone else had the issue repaired.

I had this issue and it was dry column boot, cost $145. Here is description from invoice: VERIFIED COMPLAINT, PARTIALLY REMOVED STEERING COLUMN UNDER PANEL, LUBE BOOT FOR STEERING SHAFT AS NEEDED, REINSTALLED REMOVED COMPONENTS, CHECKED STEERING WHEEL FOR NOISE, NO NOISE HEARD AT THIS TIME, VEHICLE PERFORMED AS DESIGNED
