Extended warranty for 2015 S550

2015 S550 4MATIC AMG Sport package, 2006 S500 4Matic (Sold)
Extended warranty for 2015 S550
I would appreciate any recommendations for extended warranty for a 2015 S 550 w/ 40,000 miles. This is a certified used MB Dealer purchase vehicle and comes wit a 1 year CPO warranty.
The best price I’ve found is $3,600 tax included for an additional 2 years on top of the 1 year CPO.

Is yours a CPO? The best price I have is $3,600 including tax for 2 additional years for MB warranty.

are you sure they will actually extend the warty? Usually if its up its to late you must extend while the car is still under the warty. If it just expired and they are allowing it do it asap. 3600 is as good as your going to get.

Yes, they will extend. I just purchased as a CPO, they tell me to purchase within 30 days to get the best price. The best deal I found is $3,600 with taxes included.

Ok didnt realize you got it cpo.. So you have until the end of the cpo to extend....No rush. did you post up the details of the car?

They tell me it's cheaper if I buy CPO with 30 days of purchase. I'm not sure if that's a sales strategy or fact ??? They say after 30 days the price will go up. I'll post some pics and detail soon. I'm in Ohio and the weather isn't good for pics now. The ones I have are ones taken while car was on Dealers showroom floor.

so the selling dealer will normally give you 10% off the extended warty if done in the 1st 30 days... but usually the price is over 5k. out of state from one of the names on this forum are in the 3600 range like the prices u got usually no matter when you extend it.

I just bought a 2017 S550 cab and the dealer told me cost on a 2 year CPO is $4250.00. Where can I find it for $3600.00?

I paid 3800 for my S63's 2 yr extension. I would think you could do better than 3600 for the 550.

Warranties are sold by people that make money selling them. THE ODDS are that someone that buys a warranty will not consume what they pay for it.............

I purchased the 2 year extension yesterday for $3,450.00. It seemed low enough to get 2 extra years of coverage. Now I have 3 years CPO coverage on a S550 AMG sport. Time will tell if it pays for itself.

I am also intesrested. I have a S550 2015. I have 90K on it now and need to do something. Dealer wants 6500 for 2 yrs 36,000 miles. Seems high.

Is your 2015 S550 under MB warranty, either original or CPO? You can extend it up to 2 years with MB. It sounds like the quote you received is a third party. I know some that were out of MB warranty and purchased a Toyota Platimum warranty and it was reasonable and good coverage. Akron Mercedes also sells Toyota’s and they sell the Platinum , call Allie Pritt Business Manager 330-733-7511 Ganley Mercedes.
