Thumbs up DIY W222 COMPLETE TRANS FLUSH

Anyone have comments on the following procedure? Good/Bad? Its the most complete procedure I have found to do a "complete" Filter and Fluid change. I assume this is also the same procedure on a 2014 W222 S550 4matic.
Thanks...

I don't have that things to dare this kinda of hefty job and I'm not McGyver at all
However, it's hard to say pity to anyone daring to tackle such a job

I definitely would leave that to the professional mechanics to handle. I still have my 1987 420 SEL with approximately 325,000 on the odo and my mechanic still handles that type of work. Some services are meant to be paid for and that's one of them.

This is a good procedure to follow. Not sure if you want to do that thorough of a job, but if your transmission fluid is as bad as the one in the video, you can't go wrong doing exactly what he did.

I got mine done for $570 at a dealership. My reputable non-MB mechanic that works on all German cars and has been doing a great job on my car for 2 years charges $400. I was forced to pay extra because of time pressure and I was away from home.

18 AMG GTC and 22 F150 Limited. Past owner 16 Maybach, 17 Brabus Smartcar, 06 Ford E150, and 22 G70
Did it on my car

i did the service on our maybach 16 model year. It took some time and I spent a lot of time manually rotating engine over to find torque converter drain plug. Turns out there was none so I did the filter and half the fluid change. Stlll have enough fluid to do another service. Total cost was about 350 but that included the scan tool to get fluid temp.
