Warranty "Transfer" to Mexico

Posting this here as you guys and gals seem to be the most active on this forum. Have a friend who is being transferred from the US to the US Embassy in Mexico City. He's thinking of buying a pre-owned Mercedes before he goes and was wondering if the remaining warranty that would come with the car here in the States would be transferable/usable in Mexico City. I know warranties vary from country to country and there is, of course, a Mercedes dealership in Mexico's capital. Anyone have any experience with this or could point me in a direction of where to get an answer. Thanks and Happy New Year!

If the car is new or used and still under mfg warranty , call Jeff Jackson at 502-896-4411 . X1246 for best pricing and good information.
