Agreed! Dialing in your car to the rims for a sporty look is one thing, but this makes a very classy car look like it should be in a rap video. I don't like the 4x4 look but can understand some guys needing to leave it that way due to the road conditions of where you live. I used to live in the northeast and a lowered car on low profile rims was a disaster there. Lowered a couple of MM's looks nice if your area can handle it.

Not sure what part of Europe you are referring to but in Germany lowering cars is more common than in the US.
Coming from a German

Yeah, I just don't get the elevated way of thinking Europeans often have. The King.....

Questions:
1. The light strip under bumper, it does not turn on for reverse? Is it just for fog lights, and when / how does it turn on.
2. I was surprised that in comfort mode, the car sounded like the butterflies in the exhaust were open. Pop and crack in comfort mode would ruin it for me, i thought the valves only open in sport.
3. With the new 4Matic+, does this mean the car can now have the best of both worlds MBC?

What a bunch of sensitive men.
The percentage of German cars that get lowered is 0.01%, the percentage of American cars lowered is way higher 10% I’d say, maybe more.
I like the sporty look of a lowered car, but if it is too much it makes me throw up.
That was my point, I dislike sensitive little men also.

I can understand some folks like to lower their cars a little bit (like with Renntech module that does not affect the ride too much) but what I see sometimes is an abomination and makes the car undriveble.
In late 90s rented a E320 Cab (lowered) in LA and had to return to agency before even making it to Malibu (from Brentwood) on a trip to SF.
Rubbed wheels at every turn and was shaking my fillings loose.

Nope, not sensitive at all. You passed judgement, and could not hide your disdain for Americans. What you got was a response. If your reading comprehension is up to par, you can see everyone posting actually agrees with your one point that lowered sporty is nice, beyond that all seem to agree with your point, looks cheap and terrible. What do you base these statistics you preach on? Youtube? Your opinion? Very few cars go past the lowered sport look in America. But I find most eurotrash elites and their arrogant attitude to be marble heads so I generally don't try to enlighten them to actual facts as they enjoy their delusional Utopia. ( I do not include normal europeans in this response...mainly you) Everyone can have any conversation with respectful opinions about any topic....you felt compelled to show your judgment of Americans and the "way we think" and had to make a point of it. That my friend, makes you a little man. Go away.
well put! He will likely call us bullies after a while.

I'm 67 years old, and I think I've modded at least a a little to an extent, on every car I've owned. Believe me, that's a lot of cars! Granted, not as much on these newer cars as cars in the past, I will admit, I haven't touched my new car yet, and probably won't ( although I did add logo puddle lights and still thinking about changing out rf and wheels). Oh, the itch! You can add or delete a lot more on these newer cars than you could in the past.
The only mod I never got into was murdering a car...didn't get it then, don't get it now.

No reason to get angry and demand the poor guy to "go away".......

I mean, when a post about lowering a vehicle jumps to his disdain for Americans and the way we think....I would say it was pretty unnecessary. He could have easily came here and shared his dislike for lowered vehicles without all the extra stuff. Now if I called him a pompous European based on his post here, and his little YouTube reviews, would I be insulting? I believe I would be!

"I don’t like the way you think.
just as I don’t like the way you Americans do."
It was insulting, although I would hope no one was affected by such an individual. It was a response not an overreaction...I am good with my response, no referee needed as the only person out of line was the King......
We can carry on like civilized men and women, no need to engage this low level minded type. I am sure he will be fine making his boring, long winded, pompous, youtube videos.

Saying that I don’t like a car trend in America, means that I have a disdain against Americans?
Nice logic, Americans.
I like Americans more than the average European.
I don’t like the British but that doesn’t mean I dislike them. I’m just neutral towards them as I am neutral towards the Japanese.
I dislike the car culture in Japan as a whole (the many types of it and in many car categories).
I dislike the trend of many Americans lowering their cars beyond the normal.
I also do like many American car trends.
The guy who compared the factory lowering and asked me if I hated that too, I would have had to give a long answer, but short answer was that I didn’t agree whith his logic and by default with the logic of many Americans that think like him.
Now stop acting like women, Americans.
