Spare tire- Lug bolt length ???
I bought an S63 w221 spare for the S550 W222. It is the aluminum one with 5 spokes. I believe the lug bolts are shorter for the spare than the stock rim? Does anyone know what is actual and the size or length?? Thanks for your help

Looks standard to me, in comparison to the space saver I saw on this forum for sale. This is it. He explained it came from a 2009 S63.

Actually it looks like the same rim but different space saver tire.

28MM is not the correct bolt for the rim I posted above. Went to the dealer today and the S63 alloy 5 spoke spare uses the normal stock rim lug bolt I am told. MB Part# 000-990-54-07. It is 68MM in total length and 48.5MM from bottom of the shank. The shorter bolt is used on the stamped steel spare NOT the alloy 5 spoke S63 rim. Hope this helps anyone needing the correct info.

Yes. There are only two bolt lengths listed. The shorter we know is for the stamped steel spare wheel. The longer bolt (which is the stock wheel bolt) is used for the alloy 5 spoke rim posted above.
