Seat massage not working

Hello everyone
I just bought 2015 S class . When I try to use the seat massage I cannot feel them. And when I push on the start button there’s no thing happening and the word “start” in there. Even though the screen shows as if the massage is working

any one one have experienced that before? And idea what’s the issue might be? Or how much it will cost

THANK YOU in advance

This is probably your pneumatic pump located in your trunk. Just purchased a 15 and mines weren’t working either. Dealer replaced pump and seats work perfectly now.

I have a 2015 and my massage and active bolsters are not working for both front seats.

I haven't gone to the dealer yet, but I'm suspecting it's the pump as well. It would be nice to know the cost of fixing it so I know what to expect when I go to the dealership.

Not to sure of the cost, as mines was replaced under a warranty item by the dealership. Check out this thread. It may provide some further information:

What year was your car, and do you know what they updated?

And, are you saying they updated your car's software and they did not replace the pump?

Recently acquired 19,000 mile 2015 S550V. None of the seat massage, dynamic contour or other pneumatic adjustments (lumbar, etc..) would function and who I tried the display would just reset to zero. I hooked up a Snap On Modus Ultra and read the codes. Was full of stored codes as a result of a prior dead battery (hence the low miles) , but the codes had not been cleared. Everything functioned except the seat massagers and the touchpad. I cleared all the codes and and the seat massagers, dynamic contouring, etc.. are all functioning perfectly. No need to update software. Pretty much any indy shop will have a similar tool, no need to got to dealer.

Thanks for the info on this! Mine is the same way, no seat functions would work (lumber, massage, shoulder setting, etc) and as soon as I set it, the value goes back to 0. I suspect I also need to clear the fault code (I am not sure how they were registered), but I am thinking if this could be done by simply disconnecting the main battery?

Or would this require a visit and a proper scan tool?

Thanks!

Could try a battery disconnect but I don't think that will do it. Pretty sure you are going to need a scan tool. I am guessing that any Independent shop would have one that will work, maybe even the ones O'Reillys or Auto Zone use that they will generally scan for free will clear the codes. We use a Snap On Modus Ultra. Has a lot of capability for not being the factory version.
