Sticky buttons successfully fixed
I successfully fixed the stuck radio button on the panel. Soda must have spilled in the panel and the radio button got progressively worse until it wouldn’t push in at all.
I used isopropyl alcohol in a dropper and irrigated the button while trying to press the button. The goo popped loose and I was able to sponge it up with an alcohol wipe. After multiple irrigation’s and sponging the goo was soaked up into the alcohol pad. I continued to press the button and sponge up the alcohol and dark looking residue. I let it dry overnight and now it works like new.

radio shack used to sell a can of electronics cleaner w a long tube. It evaporated almost immediately after spraying. Id lay a towel around the area and spray that into the buttons. It saved window switches on my e34 bmw years ago.

This is why I love these (and all) forums. You're never alone with whatever you're going through, lol. I'm having the same issues with sticky buttons. If press the media button, the Tel depresses and similarly with others. I'll give the alcohol a try first.
