Headlight Scratch Remover
Hi everyone!
I got a few tiny scratches on my left S560’s headlight. Any suggestions for removal? I talked to megiuars this morning and they recommended Plastx! Any previous experiences? Please share.
Thank you

Older cars with hazed and scratched headlights were a known easy fix with products like that. But many newer cars have coatings on them to prevent hazing and oxidation which is why newer cars don't suffer from it like the older ones. I would be concerned that while addressing that scratch you may find you eat through a protective coating??? I would ask and be sure before buffing into that. Good luck, let us know what you find.

I wouldn't do anything, the headlight lense has a coating as the previous poster said, any polishing will take it all off and then you're really screwed. Just live with the scratches or spend the bucks for a new headlight.

If something like this doesn't work, you will just have to buy a new one or leave it as it is..

Expel PPF also has a pattern for the headlights. I did mine when I did the entire nose of my S. It will hide small scratches when applied.
