I've had this bookmarked for a while. Thought it would be appropriate to finally sign up now that I can actually help with a topic here.

My apologies, I don’t know much more about the kit. I bookmarked it a while ago keeping the thought in the back of my head. I might pull the trigger one day but have not done so yet.

A little more context on this topic (headlight swap, front bumper swap). Based on the below from the W222 S63 forum, you pretty much have to do both at the same time. You DO NOT need to swap the hood or fenders, just the headlights and bumper. I got a quote from Mercteil for essentially $9000. That includes everything needed for the front end conversion (headlights, liners, programming, shipping, you name it). I'd like to find a more affordable option. I was quoted $1500 for the front bumper kit on eBay (link below). Headlights go on eBay for around $900 each. I assume coding is $150-200. So around $3500 for used headlights and an aftermarket bumper. Then it's painting and installing.

Does anyone know if Merteil publishes a parts list so we can try to figure this out? They are shipping from overseas so I assume we could get all this stuff in the states for less. I would spend $7000 for this upgrade but $9000 is too much, might as well just get a new car.

Your not getting much anything more special than what's already there.... For the price of a full Renntech Stage II kit. They are not plug and play and require programming which requires Star Diagnostics in developer mode. I'd spend the $7k to $9k elsewhere honestly. Even more so... Buying an aftermarket replica bumper is pretty weak....Even more so if it's going on a Maybach. Save the $$$, drive your 2016 for a few years and then trade it in for a facelifted model with the new headlights.
