W223 Interior?
|
Maybe:
https://www.google.com/search?q=w223...R5xFRho_Z7c_M: The vent in the pics match the OPs pic What a sad day. |
Oh boy!!!
It looks awful to me |
Great! I can play “Pong” with my front seat passenger on long road trips. Can’t wait for the auto blog pundits to claim this screen is the greatest innovation ever from MB and should be even larger. :)

Can't be. I mean can it? This would be a fail 100%. Those vents...ugh, and the tablet is floating. Not wrapped or integrated or anything. This is down market big time. C looks better.

Of course this isn’t the final product. The screens will be integrated when finalized. Give MB a little credit.

Really??
Takes 2 seconds to see that this is a mix and match photoshop and a bad one at that. Just look at the key... There are countless wrong things to spot; wrong components, wrong angles. |
Either way, I am not a fan of this full touchscreen. My wife has an XC90. Hate using her touchscreen. Would have preferred this direction was not taken.

I am going to assume this is not the w223... I hope not at least.

The photo may be chopped and fooled with, but it looks VERY much like a W223 prototype I saw, in person—and sat in—at an MB sponsored product survey I attended over a year ago. I do believe the big touch screen ala Tesla will be in the new S.
|
Great.
So, now MB is aping Tesla. With all the new cars going in that idiotic and unsafe for driving (read distracting to driver) direction of touch control screens, huge TV sets instead of proper instruments, I'm running out of normal cars to consider for myself. Call me old school or dinosaur, I won't be upset, I still get to vote with my wallet though..... |

I just went out to my garage and gave my 2017 W222 a big hug.

I like analog gauges and buttons in a sports car. In a sedan I don't mind screens if properly integrated.

There is nothing wrong with a large colorful screen well integrated in the dash ensconced in wood or leather that can do what you need it to (navigation, audio, phone, etc.). However I agree, this Tesla sized "monitor" is hideous. Not interested in driving a space ship. |
Crap, My 2017 S550 lease is up soon and by the responses here, it looks like there will be a run on the 2020 S-class (the last year this model will be produced). I was hoping to get a good deal on the last year of the model run - but maybe not. As to the new upcoming S-class, add to that ugly screen the ugly new grill.... wooo hooo, I can't wait. :)

You might want to buy a 2020 Model when they first come out before all the good exterior colors are taken..... :)
