Beauty and The BEAST..........
I was at the car wash today and could not resist this photo. Lexus would like us to think these two are “competitors.” Yeah, right. Talk about Beauty and the BEAST, Uh, that’s my S560 on the right.

Oh look a overpriced Toyota Avalon.
The Lexus LS460 is a nice car. Most of the Lexus lineup is and always has been a mess with a couple of rare exceptions. The W222 S Class is right now other then RR and Bentley the top of line sedan.

I think it's kind of a cool car but the W222 facelift is so beautiful, with or without sport.

The lex looks very feminine next to the benz, the head lamps look eyelash like and once you see that it's kind of too late haha

They're both beautiful cars to someone out there. It's a refined stately elegance versus that Toyota/Lexus design language which I find a little abrasive. But they're in different categories. The S class represents the pinnacle of automotive innovation and is basically the best mass-produced luxury sedan out there. Anything above it is customized (Bentley, Rolls) but not necessarily better. The technological features of the S class always push the boundaries.
I do have to give a thumbs up to Lexus for breaking out of its comfort zone and putting a turbo engine in the LS for the first time ever. And the LS will probably cause fewer maintenance headaches cuz let's face it... the one who prefers the Lexus probably does so because of long term reliability without special maintenance.

I think the Lexus looks cool, but I would never own that car. It's just not me. Now that MB on the other hand, it looks cool too and I'd LOVE to own one. Wait a minute, I already do. Cool.
