Noticeable difference in ride quality with the Sports Package?

Is there a noticeable reduced ride quality with the Sport Package? I'm in the market for a W222 and while I like the look of the Sport Package equipped models, my priority is primarily the ride quality over better handling. Does the Sports Package also include stiffer springs? Any input would be greatly appreciated as I try to make a buying decision.

Other than Rim's Rotors and Dress, that's it.

The 20" wheels that come with the sport package will make the ride firmer than you want...

18 AMG GTC and 22 F150 Limited. Past owner 16 Maybach, 17 Brabus Smartcar, 06 Ford E150, and 22 G70
I got 65000 miles on my 16 Maybach. I have to run the tires at 47psi so as not to have sidewalls prematurely eaten up (different post). The car rides totally wonderful. Add to this I have had it out in the big F1 type race track and it handles amazing. You would have no idea your driving a 5300 pound car like a sports car. Get done racing and put the car in normal driving mode and its back to plush ride.

I have sport package with the 19" AMG rims (2015). I thought the brake rotor was larger.
Combination of sport package and active body control yields a car that handles far better than its weight class.

If you order the sport package you get 19 in wheels and 18's won't fit. If you really want the smoothest quietest ride I think the 18's non run flat on the non sport is the way to go and is how I will order my 2021.

The Magic Body Control (code 487) is an option on the S550. I am really interested in getting it but it has NOT been included in the 50+ cars (MY 2015-2016) I have looked at so far on line. Seems like most customers did not want to pay the additional cost.

My thoughts were not cost of the option,- but the repair of such an option out of warranty. Having dealt with the nightmare of the ABC system in earlier cars, MBC would need to come with a specific warranty on just the MBC for me to consider it. The Airmatic is somewhat reasonable to repair and maintain in comparison. I tend to keep some cars 4-6 years so this was an issue I considered. Many remember the ABC suspension and I think this is just a consideration for some. Although MBC is a different system, it's just more complex and more to go wrong. But also when you start pricing out a new car with all of the essentials this does add quite a jump to the overall cost. But if I were a lease and dump after 3 years MBC would be a great upgrade.

If you're looking at long term issues and plan to keep the car for a decade, definitely consider the air suspension. I have active body control (magic body control), and I've decided to perform a suspension fluid flush every 40K to 50K miles at home to delay the inevitable. 150 dollars in Pentosin CHF 11s fluid and a 40 dollar filter every few years in order to avoid a pricey repair sounds worth it to me. But if you drive a magic body control car versus the standard air suspension, you will be amazed the first time you hit a speed bump driving 40 mph.

The very sophisticated suspension options offered by MB on their higher end vehicles is one of the things that sets MB apart from many other brands. Magic Body Control, especially as offered on the 2018 & newer models, is truly phenomenal and I would not order an S Class without it. MBC is merely ABC or Active Body Control with a camera system that scans the road. ABC has been around for many years and updates and engineering improvements over the earlier models have produced a system that is much more reliable. I ordered both my 2015 S550 and now my 2018 S560 with 18” wheels, MBC and no AMG Line. I put non-RFT on and now have what I feel is “THE” smoothest, best riding car, this side of a new Rolls or possibly Bentley.
