I have a meticulously maintained E430 4M with 56K miles, xenon headlights, mechanically perfect. Insurance has totaled it due to a minor front collision that damaged bumper cover, hood, top radiator support, AC condenser and radiator and fans. No fluid leaks as a result of damage, just pushed in. It is very repairable and I would repair it in a heartbeat but do not want to go through salvage title hell and inspection with Connecticut DMV. I'd consider retaining it if I have solid interest in the car as a whole or major parts (engine/trans/doors/intereior, etc..) It's black with Java. Brand new MB battery 2 weeks ago, following services just performed October 2016:

Engine mounts
trans mount
CV axle boots
Lower ball joints
4 Bilstien shocks
Lower Control arm bushings
Transmission service/fluid change
New Michelin tires Pilot Sport AS/3
New brakes/rotors
Complete fluid changes with OEM MB fluids (xfer case, engine (Mobil 1 0w40), front axle, rear axle, brake fluid flush, PS fluid, coolant)
New sparkplugs, cabin filters, air filter.

This is to gauge interest, I have not yet settled with insurance but will need to make a quick decision when I do early next week.
