Can't pass 130mph
 

I've got a 2002 C230 SC Kompressor.
OK, I know the chip is what will not allow me to get past 130mph, so how do I remove that limit? Guess I 've gotta get a new ECU right? If So where?

My 190E 2.6 wont go anywhere past 120mph.

its a 2.3L and in europe it tops 140mph.

actually from 2002 onwards the 180,200 and the 230 all use the same 1800 engine with different engine ecu software but depends on if the car is before or after the change

Well I got a chip installed last week from EVOSPORT and it now hauls off the line like I never thought possible with traction control engaged, with it off my c230 SC Kompressor now lits it up making for fantastic drifts, I'm currently editing a video i made last week just drifting thru my office parking lot. Also Now I got up to 143mph on the 405 heading south past camp pendalton, nice light traffic and wide open for some nice gaps. Thanks again all you for your suggestions for a chip, it paid off and was well worth the $699, now who knows about exhaust. I want to optimise mine for more torque, (off the line to 18mph) not top end. Any ideas for my C230 sports coupe kompressor?
