MTM K306 Audi A4 cab w/Kleemann Kompressor!
 

I just saw a curious thing on TV...Auto Motor und Sport was doing a profile on the MTM tuned A4 cabriolet and what did I spy? A Kleemann supercharger! Now is this a partnership, or did MTM just figure out that Kleemann had a system that could fit an A4 3.0?

Absolutely sure...If i could post the vid I would. Kleemann logo is clearly visible

MTM has figured out that the V6 KLEEMANN SC -ALMOST- fits the Audi engine. They take a stock KLEEMANN V6 sc unit and modify it heavily to make it fit/work. About the only thing that is left of the original unit is the back half of the manifold.

If MTM bought 100 V6 units in a year it wouldnt effect the price.

btw, are there other people out there tinkering with kleemann kompressors on non-mecedes platforms?

A Kleemann SC on my A6 4.2 would be sweet.... Kleemann, do you know if they have tried that yet?

I dont know if MTM has done anything with the V8's. As with most small tuners in EU they tend to focus on the small engines for whatever reason (taxes, fuel etc). They miss the forest for the trees in my opinion.

You will have to contact MTM directly to find out- I dont have anythiung to do with what goes on there.

If Sleestack don't deserve a Kleemann T-shirt, I don't know who does.

MTM can see the forest for all the trees, they are in process with an AUDI V8 with KLEEMANN S/C.

Well there you go then, Sleestack gets his wish after all.

BTW: As long as we are discussing cross-pollenation, you die hard MoPar fans out there can SC your CROSSFIRE with a KLEEMANN V6 system- entire powertrain is MBZ.

So now Sleestack can loose his license for good:D

Now i'm interested. Any more details? I wonder if I could get RS6 numbers out of my 4.2 A6... that would be an awesome AWD sedan.

Will it come with the typical Chrysler $1500 rebate :D
