2003 E55 amg build,the hunt for WHP.
Hey!i am starting a thread for big mods in Engines for these wonderful cars.Has enyone else deleted the stock intercooler?

Short tube headers.
Race cats and ferrita rear mufflers.
180mm crank pulley.
90mm custom TB.
Ported SC inlet and outlet,modified and ported TB housing (inlet).
Ported runners (SC)
Deleted stock intercooler.
Twin custom top mounted intercoolers.
FTP heat exchanger.
Johnson CM90 IC pump.
2 step colder sparkplugs.
880cc E85 injektors.
Custom ram air intake (insane sound).
Custom hoodscoop made in aluminium,shaped in the English Wheel.
Custom engine/gearbox ECU tune (not premade program).
Lowered and modified front bumper.
Quaife LSD.
Fully E85 conversion,2x E85 deatschwerks pumps mounted in tank,custom fuelrail,HKS regulator,8mm fuelines
Fully built gearbox on all gears! (stock could not handle the power gains and was slipping in 3-4-5 gear)
My goal was minimum 650 whp!dyno will show the truth in spring...

Nice job on the hood and cold air looks clean.
OP..motors as we know are pumps
Air in, air out
Believer in proper porting cam timing etc.
Bolt ons and playing with tuning is a good place to start though

Only way to higher boost my friend! i gained 0,5 bar in boost after i cut that piece of **** stock intercooler out.
I used 2intercoolers that is rated 400hp each and cut them open at one side and handmade the plenums.

Ive had good results from porting heads/intakes bolt ons are only icing on the cake

dont wowrry about rwhp most # out there are bs. ITs about track times and feel that matters. Want the truth pm me.
Bolt ons are bolt ons...the real meat comes from within.
The MB are my (now ex), hp unknown. Personal vechicles never measuerd either but will eclips a 120mph quarter with ease.
