need JPEG help with a proposed new sig...

This seems like the right place to ask this question, though a quick look at the other threads seems to indicate that others don't see it that way! Anyway, I've successfully made photos for sigs here and elsewhere, but my latest attempt is mystifying me. Here's the sig I use on a cellphone forum:

For some reason, a similarly styled one I made for this forum keeps coming out tiny:

I've made a few versions of it, and the files, while in My Documents, seem to be sized at 4201x2551, 8402x5102, and 1924x480, yet each time i upload to Photobucket, the image is that tiny size above. Obviously, I'm doing something wrong; anyone?

Photobucket is automatically resizing the picture. Before you upload click "More Options" below upload pictures and change the size to whatever you want. Not sure if you're able to change this if you don't have a premium photobucket account.

I wonder why it would resize that pic but not others.....maybe it's TOO big to begin with?

I followed your directions; it was set to resize my photos to "medium 320x240" so I checked "large 640x480" and here it is now:

...think that's big enough for a sig? (and thanks a bunch for the tip)

Yeah, the file was probably too wide to begin with, so it resized it by percentage. The sig as it is now is good.
