How do you upload a picture into your sig, you avater, and your message?

to post a pic in your message, you just click browse near the end of the page, and search for your pic...i forgot about the avatar stuff though

Very, very carefully.

First you click . Now for a pic in your sig you click editprofile and then upload or link it in the signature update field. For an avatar you click editoptions and go to the avatar update field and either uplaod or link one.
Pics into message work similar with the IMG or Attach File section in the Post setup function.

How do I know if the picture is too big or not?

You display it full size on your screen and measure it.

Seriously now, you look at Properties, and compare it the forum rules. Even that is no guarantee as members might voice their opinion about its size.
