hey guys, i just finished with my new R class and have a weird tint problem with the front 2 windows..... as seen here in my pics https://mbworld.org/forums/r63-amg-w...-amg-pics.html
. its the same tint all the way around the car yet the front shows up reflective. the tint guy said it might have something to do with thermally insulated windows....could that be the case?

Same problem and now I know it isn't just me.

We recently had our 2006 R500 (Silver/Black) tinted with Huber Optik 30% all the way around including the two sun roofs and an eye brow drop on the front windshield. I expected the front two windows to look slightly different because of the factory tint on the rear windows. But when you look at the car directly from the side, the front window has a silver/metal/reflective look. Photos attached.

I don't think it is the tint job (it is my 4th car with same tint from same place), so i am interested in your guy's theory that the window has a thermal coating.

It's the slightly blue factory UV coating on the front windows. Nothing you can do about it.

if it is the windows coating, i would just buy new front windows, to me it looks that terrible, i have to do something about it. its ruining the whole mojo of my car
