Schedule D over 111 days overdue

Hello,
Just took ownership of a 2006 r350. Brake wear indicator came on so we had the brakes worked on. Now the schedule d 111 days overdue light is on. It was not on before the brakes were done. Could this be a faulty indicator?

It sounds like a major service was either skipped or the computer was not reset.

How many miles does it have? the critical things really is oil changes. and maybe spark plugs (because if they are too old they get hard to remove) and Transmission fluid(even that is arguable since early on MB said no fluid changes for life. ) Other items such as air filter would cause some performance degradation but nothing catastrophic. I assume they flushed the brake fluid when you had brakes done? Maybe it was sitting on a lot for a few months?

Btw did you notice how much pad thickness you had left? the wear indicator tends to come on at 3/16ths.. never a panic.. more of a nuisance. I converted an old sensor into a shorting pigtail... i run the brakes to 1/16th!
