Slouly leaking coolant - To seal or not to seal
Hello everyone!
My 2009 MB R320 Bluetec (diesel) started to give me 'Add coolant' messages about twice a year so far.
I add some fluid, like 200 ml or less. Yet, from my experience it indicates small leak somewhere which eventually will get bad.
On any other car I would not hesitate to add some sealant into coolant to try to fix the problem in less expensive way. It worked even on tractor diesels.
Yet, this is MB and I suspect it is kind of sensitive to additions to stock fluids.
So, the questions are:
Have you experience such problem? Have you tried to add sealant? What kind? Did it work? Would you suggest to do so?
Thank you
