Both power front seats not working

No idea where to start on this. Both front power seats are not working. My R350 does not have memory seats. Also, tailgate won?t stay up, not sure if that is related or not. I read a thread on the same problem in an ML500, but not sure if it is the same problem. Help!

There is a fuse chart posted in the forum... try searching...

for the tailgate.. please explain... is it a power tailgait? Does it power up? What happens then? does it power down again or shut off and fall down?

Taking it in to shop to have fuse etc inspected. It is not a power tailgate. But when I open it, it does not stay up and wants to slam shut. I think it is the hydraulic arms.
