06 r350 aux input
So im looking for help with the aux input. My command system says aux activated when i press and hold the cdc button but i do not have the input in the glove box. Im assuming because it supports aux that the wiring must be hidden somwhere and i need some sort of aux patch lead. Ive lifted the kick panel and sill trim on the passenger side but see nothing there. Any help with this would be great. Cheers Ash

First of all you have to buy the aux cable.
This will be fine. Do not pay for something more expensive as it will not make any difference, 3$ and you are ok.
Then you will need those plastic tools in order to remove the control panel underneath the audio 20. There is a specific video on YouTube. It is tricky to remove it, you have to be careful in order not to brake some plastic clips. But in case you brake them it is ok! LOL! I have brake them all! You can fit it anyway.
Then there are two torx screws with two aluminum parts that lock the unit. Unscrew and pull them down. Then you can take out your unit.
On the back side you will see that there is only one available slot for your cable! That’s it! Plug it in, with the other cables. Be careful. Your plug has only 3 cables that are located on the corner. At your unit the active input for aux is top left corner of your free pins. There should be your cables as well. Make a test before putting back. If you hav any questions please feel free to ask!
Good Luck!
