Help identifying item with oil leak?

Hi, is there anyone able to help identifying this part, bottom left of my engine leaking oil? 2007 R320 CDI

It a part that has 2 rubber hoses going to it & it connects to the bottom left side of the engine in front of the clutch housing.

Here's a video:

Photos;

Next to the front diff housing

I was led to believe the oil leak was caused by;
"ENGINE OIL COOLER SEALS AND TURBO OIL STAND GASKETS LEAKING OIL"
1 x Oil cooler gasket kit (includes turbo gaskets) $340.00 GST
1 x Inlet port shut-off motor (if necessary) $380.00 GST
1 x Breather valve $320.00 GST
MB Coolant $48.00 GST
Labour $1,540.00 GST
TOTAL = $2,890.80 ALL INCLUSIVE

But... The oil leak is obviously not coming from the Turbo.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Paul.

Your video link doesn't work.

Do you have part numbers listed in your repair cost estimate? Is the estimate from an independent repair shop or a Mercedes dealer?

Look at this video:

Lots of labor to replace the oil cooler seals, if that is your problem. $2,890 seems in the range. The labor cost gives the impression of an all day (8-10 hours) job, which seems reasonable after watching the video. The repair estimate you provide is consistent with oil cooler seal replacement.

Thanks for the info but No my main problem is that I have found where the oil leak is coming from. I just want someone to identify the part the oil is leaking from.

Can see in the video.

If you post in the diesel forum you'll have better luck

Ahh I see... So that's probably the same as mine... The oil leaks from the oil cooler down the back of the engine INTERNALLY & then leaks down out the back of the engine. Ok...

Thanks 👍

I had the SAME issue with 2012 R350 bluetec. And it is on TSB. But the dealer said they are not responsible to repair it.
Any class act lawsuit to force MB to pay for their quality issue?
