AIRMATIC P5508 Code
Greetings all! While driving my R63 today I was greeted by “AIRMATIC Malfunction” on the dash today. Checked for codes and found p5508 “The pressure line leaks.” Within the last two weeks I changed out the Air Compressor and feedline. Checked the 40A fuse and found it to be intact; the relay was replaced with the new Arnott with the compressor.
I suspect it is the feed line coming off the compressor is simply loose but wanted to check in the group for additional thoughts here.

Well there’s yer problem! The compressor failed! Got the wheel liner loosened and out fell the spring, aluminum valve and black cap. Props to FCPEuro as they are rushing a replacement pump out now.
In the mean time I reassembled and tightened things back up. Seems to be working and holding air as designed. No clue as to origin of the failure.
