1996 S320 Battery
 

I believe the battery in my 1996 S320 has developed a bad cell --- after sitting overnight the start needs a boost. If it starts without a boost, the start is dragging and the dashboard lights come on dimly and the red and green lights on the rear view mirror blink on and of for a few seconds. Please let me know if these symptoms indicate something other than a battery problem. If the battery should be replaced, as I have determined, please let me know what battery brand and specifications are best and how much I should expect topay. Thank you.

I would suggest you borrow a battery first & see if it still acts up. Normally from my experience when a cell collapses you won't get an engine to start because of the resistance & drain on the battery.Also it may have poor connection & is not getting it's full charge. Can't give you price as I'm in New Zealand.
