Looks like the 2018 S coupe and cabs are about to show up on the website.

About time! In their 'future cars' section it says they will be arriving summer of 2018. Are they are really going to introduce these as a 2018 model ? Usually the 2019 models show up in the late summer or early fall... seems like they should introduce these as an early MY19.

As of 9pm EST they have pulled the early pages rather than enable the "build"pages etc.

I agree. What is MB thinking? Makes no sense to release MY18 in summer of 2018. Why can't they release as early MY19 so these cars don't take a huge depreciation hit a month later just because MB decided to release them the last day of the model year.

I'd like to think the false start on updating the website to the next model year is to do precisely what you suggest. Frankly, buying in summer or early 2019 is largely dependent on this issue for me. Wonder if one of the upcoming winter car shows might be where they make the announcement. June/July to START selling the 2018 model year is stupid.
