changed battery and oil..but felt like i chnaged the whole engine!
gonna go to the mechanic tomorrow to check on that issue of the smell of exhaust that comes at highway speeds. hopefully he fixes it cause i get awesome headaches after drving for an hour.
wish me luk edit: found out that the oil cap has a worn out seal, and engine oil is coming out from it. found a trail of dried up oil all the way down to the engine bottom from the cap. how dangerous is that? can the smell issue be related to it?
1. oil cap(apparently the ones we get here have some defect , something about the rubber seal being too hard, and hence it cracks)
2. somepoint right between engine and radiator, seals were worn out.
3. somepoint at the bottom of the engine , another seal gone.
also the people who changed the oil filters let oil drip down on the engine while fitting a new filter, which would reach the red hot exhaust pipes at speed and cause the oil to burn , causing the smell at high speeds.
also the piston rings need some restoration oil to stop the small amount of smoke that come outta the exhaust when you really push the car. is it true you have to add the restoration oil while the engine is running?
so the mechanic is gonna change all the seals. also found out that my dad hadnt changed the tranny oil for 57000 kms (wtf!) so changing that as well.
thats all there is to update.

just a joke...i didnt mean anything by...hey what are you gonna do with that chair...
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!by the way the car only smoke when you really hit the gas.. other wise its clean, so take it easy on the car and it doesnt smoke.
just to repeat the question, do you add engine restoration oil while the enigne is running? you know the stuff that helps keep ur piston rings in shape and do their job of stopping oil of burning with the fule and air?
