W126 300SE 1987 - The following problem only occurs when the car has not been used for a few days : It fires up well every time, and then after about 8 or 9 minutes on the road, when the engine is no longer cold, but not yet at operating temperature, it will not rev properly if the revs drop below 1500, (say, in a car park) and then the engine dies, and has to be left for about 15 mins before it will work properly again. This problem will not re-surface if used regularly.
