What is this part?
Hi all,
I found a little black plastic part that looks like a funnel about 4" tall in my trunk (600 SEL) with the part number 140 782 00 31. Any ideas what that might be?

Group 78 has to do with sliding roof, look here:

It is a piece to align a hex or trox to manually open the sunroof.
Should be under the trunk lining on the left hand side.

Not complete that I am aware of, but reading
these documents gives you insight into the
Mercedes part system, and that is good knowledge
anyway (look in "Tutorials");
