Sealing Chipped S500 Windshield?
Is there any reason to not seal small chips on the windshield of my '98 S500? Want to make sure that the dual-pane window does not cause some sort of problem...

1993 300SEL/S320
I'm pretty sure the front is just one pane, anyway I had two chips done about a month ago because I had to have them done for my car to pass it's 6 month safety inspection and it's fine.
