Go with the W140. Higher quality automobile. Plus, it comes standard with that ever so familiar vault-like feel older Benz's have.

I'm still at university but I did a project on this exact thing in "International and expoert marketing" the other day it was pretty interesting. I got marked down by the tutor because apparantly I suggested engaging in unethical business by suggesting that in some parts of the former USSR that government is more of a collection of entrepreneurs than in other countries. My understanding is that alot of the stuff that goes there also comes out of Japan and Singapore because our imported cars have gone up because people selling there like you are buying up all the mid 1990's cars. Something that may interest you to know is that soon our government is to pass a bill that will restrict the age of our imported cars to nother older than 6 years, that might lower your cost per unit because of less demand from our end for W140 and the like.

eastern europeans still seem to have a major thing for the old benzes... when i was buying my w124 i looked at about 5 or 6, all but one of the sellers was eastern european, it was pretty crazy. i guess when they move to the us they can fulfill that urge they've always had to own the mercedes they always wanted back home!
