Right Side Coil Packs Keep Blowing?
Has anybody had just one side of thier ignition system cause an issue? I keep blowing coil packs on my 1998 S420 only on Cylinders 5 through 8. A buddy of mine has an OBD diagnosic & he showed me some ignition fluctuation on cylinders 5-8.
I can only imagine a bad ground being an issue, so any input or experience you all may have could be a great help.
Thanks

I've tried all brands; oem and aftermarket. It still keeps blowing them on one side of the engine. Like 5 in the last year.

Could it be that the right bank has more heat.Like measure difference. Also your ground idea sounds right. Can you add extra ground?
I would like to know the fix to your problem.
