Question After Market HID Lights need adjustment?

I installed after market HID lights and now everyone on the road at night time is flashing me. I think they may need adjustment. However I have looked at them and they look even. The majority of the people happen to be driving SUV's. Has anyone encountered this? What should I do?

They can be 'even' yet still aimed on the high side. Who did the installation and how did they determine that it was level (or just below)? Did you eyeball the beam height when parked level?

Aiming my headlights

Hey Raymond your also from Seattle...any how Car Toys installed them and just pointed them at a wall and said on looky they are level. However I get people flashing there lights at me constantly.

The new HID lights on newer cars I notice have a small cylinder that keeps the lights focused to a tight beam. On my 96 S420 the headlights just have a regular headlight which doesnt allow it to have a sharp beamed focus so I am thinking that the HID lights must be several times larger than the newer lights with the focused cylinder beams. Caqusing the light to go everywhere

Any idea what I should do? I don't want to be inconsiderate to other drivers and I feel as though I am.

OEM HIDs have auto leveling. Did you get complete housing replacement with HID bulbs, or were they bulb HID inserted into your existing housing? Your stock headlights should have built in adjusters. Yeah, sux if theyre not adjusted properly. Bad for other drivers big time.
