Please help, the radiator fan doesn't come on.
the car is a 2003
I warmed it up to 120* and the fan doesn't want to kick in?
Where is the switch/sensor/ or however it works?
Does anyone have an idea?
I know that someone will say, just take it to the dealer, it should still be on warranty, but it's a salvage title.
Please help guys.

Most likely need to replace the fan assembly. Unfortunatly they are not cheap at all. If you have any mechanical ability, you can check for power at the fan so make sure its getting power and just not turning on.

There is a fan control unit that is part of the fan assembly on some models and is a separate part on some. It depends on the model year. It tells the fan to turn on and off. If I remember correctly, its behind the passenger side of the front bumper on the models where its separate. I have seen both the fan motor and the control unit go bad so its best to check for power at the control unit and at the fan connector.
